An antique early 20th-century Swiss 800 silver pocket watch. 15 Rubies movement. Double hunter case type. Guilloche surface with engraved floral motif. White dial with sub-dial and Roman numerals, marked Juan Sabalain, Buenos-Aires, 1823. Hallmark 800 FV is on the inner side of the cover. Inscription on cuvette: Juan Sabalain, Buenos-Aires, Ligne droite, Schappement Ancre, 15 Rubis, No. 1823. J. Grosclaude et Cie mechanism. Total Weight: 115 grams. Juan Sabalain was an Argentinian retailer. Collectible Pocket Watches And Clocks.
