Anatole Krasnyansky is a Ukrainian American artist who has gained prominence by pioneering a new watercolor technique. Through experimentation, Krasnyanskys introduced paper texture into his creative process and made it a dynamic component of his watercolors, resulting in an expansion of the medium's potential. With this new creative process, Krasnyansky added texture and depth to the watercolor medium and expanded its expressive possibilities to a level usually associated with oil painting.
