An mid to late 20th-century pocket watch by Molnija, a Russian watch factory based in Chelyabinsk active from 1947 to 2007. Hunter case type. The case features an enamel miniature portrait of Mikhail Kutuzov on the obverse and relief ornaments on the reverse. Zinc alloy relief clock face with sub-dial, Roman numerals, marked Molnija, Made in USSR. Prince Mikhail Kutuzov, 1745 to 1813, was a Field Marshal of the Russian Empire. He defeated Napoleon as commander-in-chief in the Patriotic war of 1812. Collectible Clocks And Watches.
