A large mixed media painting on board depicting an Expressionist portrait of clowns after Oscar Kokoschka, Austrian, 1886 to 1980. Signed with a monogram, lower left. Framed. A paper label of the West new York Art Gallery is on the backside. Oskar Kokoschka was an Austrian artist, poet, playwright, and teacher best known for his intense expressionistic portraits and landscapes, as well as his theories on vision that influenced the Viennese Expressionist movement.
