An original Pre 1945 WWII Nazi German military police helmet. A steel helmet intended to protect against shrapnel and fragments of grenades. Distinctive coal scuttle shape, matte black or dark grey color. A hard hat type leather liner. Completed with a strap. The helmet is adorned with a swastika insignia and an image of a Nazi eagle clutching a swastika insignia in an oak wreath.
