The sculpture is composed of an etched stone body, Silver metal, and encrusted with Coral stone eyes. Mounted on a rectangular shaped and hand carved marble base. The sculpture is adorned with relief accents. Signed, A. Teno, and numbered, on the base. Aurelio Teno was a famous sculptor from Cordoba, Spain. He was a multifaceted artist who worked in many different mediums. He started his long career at the young age of eight years. He began as an apprentice to the sculptor Amadeo Ruiz Olmos and then moved to his workshop specializing in silver before studying painting and drawing at the School of Arts and Crafts in Cordoba.
