An African Suriname art hand carved wooden panel. The panel is adorned with carved wicker, swirl and star motifs. Marked with a paper label, Suriname Bush Negro Art, on the backside. Bush Negro is a person of Guiana and especially Suriname who is descended from Africans who escaped enslavement.
