A pair of Art Deco manner aluminum compotes. Designed by Lurelle Guild for the Kensington Ware. Circa: 1934. Each ware is mounted on a glass ball and a round shaped base. One of Americas most famous makers of Aluminum ware. This compote is in the permanent collection at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Lurelle Van Arsdale Guild, 1898 to 1985, was an architect, industrial designer, and interior designer. Vintage and Modern American Design Desk Wares, Home Decor, Interior Design, and Collectibles.
