An antique Russian Orthodox icon depicting St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. This hand-painted icon, crafted with gesso, egg tempera, and gold leaf on a wooden board, showcases St. Nicholas with his right hand raised in blessing and holding an open Gospel book in his left hand. Flanking him in round aureoles are the Mother of God and Christ on the right and left sides, respectively. Circa the mid late 19th century.
