Vadim Ryndin, Russian, 1902 to 1974, watercolor painting on paper depicting a sketch of the scenery for the play The White Guard. Signed, lower right. Framed. Additionally inscribed, and titled, on the backside. Vadim Fedorovich Ryndin, a painter, graphic artist, scene designer, studied at Voronezh State Free Art Studios under the guidance of S. M. Romanovich and N. N. Maksimov, and at the Higher State Artistic and Technical Workshops VKhUTEMAS in Moscow. In the 1920s, his art was close to constructivism. He was also interested in post impressionism and expressionism. In the early 1920s, he met masters of the society Makovets. Russian Soviet Theatre Stage Design, Paintings And Art Collectibles. One of a kind artwork.
