A large Russian traditional silver kovsh featuring an oval shaped bowl and a single handle. The bowl is gold washed inside and bears a pointed front set with a pale blue cabochon cut gemstone encircled with cobalt blue enamel rim and featuring an Imperial eagle on top, the flat handle holds a finely chiseled image of a Sirin mythological bird. Hallmarked with an 84 Russian silver standard and the makers mark. Russian Silver Kovsches And Drinkware Collectibles. Weight 685 g.
