A pair of antique Japanese, early Meiji era, enamel over gilt copper vases. The exteriors of the wares are adorned with polychrome enamel medallions representing dragons, cranes, butterflies, and flowers surrounded by floral, foliage, and geometrical ornaments made in the Cloisonne technique. The necks are decorated with a floral motif made in the same technique. The vases are inlaid with Gold stones. Circa: 1868 to 1877.
