An ancient Olmec mask from Pre Columbian America made of green jade. The elongated mask has harshly carved facial features, and eyes with drilling holes in the center of the pupil of the eyes. The same drill slits are in the corners of the lips and on the sides of the face. Comes with a stand. The Olmecs flourished during Mesoamericas formative period, dating roughly from as early as 1500 BCE to about 400 BCE.
