A lot of two antique French sculptures. A French Grand Tour 19th century plaster, bust of Napoleon made by the Atelier de Moulage du Louvre in the manner of Antonio Canova, 1757 to 1822. Reproductions like this were produced by the Atelier de moulage du Louvre for Grand Tour voyagers or pedagogical reasons, especially for art universities. Has a label on the bottom with an inscription: Musee Du Louvre, Reproduction Interdite, Ateliers de Moulage. An early 20th century Parian bust of a crying child, made of marble, depicts a small child with a veil on her hair, shedding tears.
