An antique Syrian Damascus brass ewer and basin inlaid with copper and silver. Circa late 19th to early 20th century. The items make up a set for ablution. The elongated pear-shaped lidded jug with a lid with a thin elegant spout and an intricately curved thin handle. The basin with a removable lid and wide brim is raised on a foot.
