A very large antique Chinese Dehua manner ceramic planter. The exterior of the planter is covered with polychrome enamel and adorned with relief blossoming flowers design, and scenes representing human figures and animals, and an impressed stamp. The border is decorated with a Greek motif. The ware features a pair of figural handles on the sides, made in the shape of a head of a Foo dog. Unmarked.
