An ancient Pre Columbian Mesoamerican Mezcala hand carved stone tool. Circa 300 to 100 BC. The heavy stone tool of an elongated rounded shape, with indentations on the sides and a grooved surface on the bottom. The Mezcala culture is the name given to a Mesoamerican culture that was based in the southern Mexican state of Guerrero, in the upper Balsas River region.
