A mid-20th century Chinese porcelain planter. After 1949. White piece with transfer-printed multi-figure scene in the sea on the obverse. A poem from the Siku Quanshu on the reverse. Unmarked. The Siku Quanshu, variously translated as the Complete Library in Four Sections, or Emperors Four Treasuries, was the largest Chinese collection of books published by the order of the Qianlong Emperor in the 1780s.
