A pair of antique Chinese Famille Verte ram formed covered porcelain boxes. The boxes are made in the form of docile beast with large lively eyes depicted recumbent with four feet tucked under forming the base beneath a conforming cover. The boxes are adorned with polychrome floral, foliage and beast ornaments. Marked with a paper label, Made in China, on the bottom. Circa: early 20th century.
