A Modern stacked lucite table lamp made in the manner of Karl Springer, German, American, 1931 to 1991. Each table lamp alternates stacked discs and wedges of Lucite along a chrome rod from which extend two light sockets. Circa: 1970s. Karl Springer was the most influential American furniture stylist of the latter 20th Century. His unique blending of chic sophistication and crudeness made his work powerfully attractive and the most imitated during the 1960s through the 1990s.
