An antique Chinese hand carved Shoushan stone sculpture of Shoulao, the god of longevity, with a fan in front of him, engraved with detailed patterns. Circa: early 20th century. Completed with a footed hand carved wooden stand. Shoushan stone carving is an art originating in Fujian Province in East China. The stones used in carving are also known as agalmatolite and are mined in the Shoushan village in northern Fujian.
