Marcelle Ferron, GOQ RCA, Canadian, 1924 to 2001, an oil painting on paper depicting an abstract composition. Singed by the artist and dated 1967 lower left. Matted and framed. Marcelle Ferron was a Quebecoise painter and stained glass artist, was one of the original 16 signatories of Paul-Emile Borduas Refus global manifesto, and a major figure in the Quebec contemporary art scene, associated with the Automatistes.
