A German limited edition etching by Otto Dix, titled Old Woman in the Cafe, 1920. Edition 1 of 20. The etching depicts a caricature of an elderly woman with a cup of tea at a table in a cafe. Signed by artist lower right. Matted and framed. Otto Dix, 1891 to 1969, was a German painter and printmaker, noted for his ruthless and harshly realistic depictions of German society during the Weimar Republic and the brutality of war. Along with George Grosz and Max Beckmann, he is widely considered one of the most important artists of the Neue Sachlichkeit. German Graphic Art Prints and Collectibles.
