A Chinese mixed media painting on paper by Zhou Chunya, 2013. The artwork depicts a seated green dog in a waiting pose. Signed and dated lower right. Matted and framed. Zhou Chunya, Chinese, born in 1955, is a contemporary painter best known for his series of Green Dog paintings. He studied at the Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts, which educated students in creating art that would serve as political propaganda during the Cultural Revolution. One of a kind artwork.
