Oil on canvas painting by Nejad Melih Devrim, 1923 to 1995, the first Turkish Abstract artist. The artwork depicts an abstract geometrical composition in purple, blue, white and black. Signed by the artist and dated 1952 in the lower right. Devrim lived in Paris, France from 1956 to 1968. He was part of the circle of Marcel Duchamp, Gertrude Stein and Alice B. Toklas.
