Glimpses of the Great by George Sylvester Viereck. First Edition. Published by the Macaulay Company, NY, 1930. Hardcover, with illustrations. Signed by the author with a dedication to the collector Stephen Bumball on the title page. A newspaper cut out with Vierecks obituary is attached to the flyleaf. George Sylvester Viereck, 1884 to 1962, was a German-American poet, writer, and pro-German propagandist who worked on behalf of Nazi Germany during WWII.
