An ancient Near Eastern, Iran, Luristan culture bronze spear point. Found in Iran. Circa: 2000 to 1500 BCE. A preserved example of a short spear head. Triangular, and with a pronounced mid rib, this would have been attached by its long tang to a wooden handle. Luristan bronzes are small cast objects decorated with bronze sculpture from the Early Iron Age which have been found in large numbers in Lorestan Province and Kermanshah in western Iran.
