An ancient Roman urn shaped terracotta clay jar. Found in Moesia Inferior Bulgaria. The ware has a wide urn shaped body, thickened fluted lips, and a foot. The ware is decorated with a ribbed design, and adorned with a small handle on the side. Circa: 3rd century AD. This piece of pottery is very distinctive of the Hellenistic period, and is a great piece for a collector or archaeology enthusiast.
