A lot of three vintage comic book illustrations by Alfred J Gabriele. Circa mid 20th century. The illustrations depict three girls, including an image of a girl buying a newspaper, a girl looking in the mirror, and a girl waked up in bed scared. Signed by the artist in the lower right. All three works are combined into one frame. Alfred Gabriele, 1916 to 1992, was an American comic book artist during the 1940s period fans and historians call the Golden Age of comic books. He is known for his work on some of Marvel Comics earliest Captain America and Sub-Mariner stories, and for co creating the company's superheroes Black Marvel, Miss America, and possibly, the Whizzer.
