A cast bronze sculpture by Edouard Drouot, French, 1859 to 1945. The bronze figure represents a young woman holding an egg in her arm. On the other hand she must hold a parrot, which is now lost. Edouard Drouot was a sculptor of the Art Nouveau era who worked with allegorical themes. His work was part of the sculpture event in the art competition at the 1924 Summer Olympics.
