The wares are enameled with Imari decor depicting blossoming flowers in a garden in red and blue shades and gilded accents. The exteriors of the wares are decorated with a blue floral motif. The bowl features red floral medallions. Imari ware is a Western term for a brightly coloured style of Japanese export porcelain from the Arita region in the 17 to 18th centuries. Unmarked.
