A Hungarian 1932 type Royal Air Force dagger. Straight double-edged blade with etched ornaments and gilt coat of arms. Etched inscription Balog Fanos hadnogy bajtarsnak, Lieutenant Balog Fanos to his Comrade and date December 14, 1945 on the reverse of the blade. Hallmarked Kozak 5 with crest on the ricasso. Eagle-shaped crosspiece and eagles head handle finial. Gilt brass scabbard with embossed decor and two suspension rings. Second World War Historical Collectables, Swords And Knives, Arms And Armor.
