A set of antique early 19th-century English sterling silver cutlery. A total of 4 items, two table forks and two table spoons. Embossed handles, the tips bear an engraved monogram. Each piece is marked on the handle. London assay mark, lion passant guardant, souvereigns head, letter N for the year 1808, makers mark WE over WF over WC. Total Weight: 405 grams. The makers mark stands for William Eley I, William Fearn and William Chawner II. The Eley family were London-based silversmiths active from 1770s to 1840s.
