A substantial silver samovar bearing Russian 84 zolotnik marks. The traditional urn-form body is lavishly decorated with overall finely engraved foliate and geometric motifs, framed by distinctive Greek key patterned banding along the upper and lower registers. The vessel is fitted with elegant twin scroll handles featuring carved insulators, a matching spigot with a decorative turn-key, and a tiered domed lid with steam vents, all resting upon a stepped square plinth supported by four cast paw feet.
