This pocket watch produced for the Ottoman Turkish Empire from the establisher of the famous matchmaking brand Sakalaroff and Cie. A solid silver case with a lid. An enameled white porcelain dial with black old Arabic numerals and hand painted flours. Marked with a brand logo on the front. Marked with a silver hallmark and other marks, and numbered 257, on the lid inside. Marked with an engraved brand logo, Ce Botton mark, and other marks on the movement inside. Key wind movements with Ruby Jewel Caps. Completed with a key. The case is adorned with engraved floral and scrollwork patterns. Circa: 1880s.
