This artwork captures a moment of emotional depth and familial connection, rendered with Chasselats characteristic attention to detail and composition. Circa the mid 19th century. Framed. Born in Paris in 1782, Chasselat was the son of Pierre Chasselat and became renowned for his historical paintings.
