A Modern mixed media painting on paper depicting a nude portrait of a reclining woman after the original painting, Nude, 1970 by Pablo Picasso, Spanish, 1881 to 1973. Inscribed and dated 18. 8. 1970 Vi Picasso, upper right. Framed. An original paper label of Le Pavillon des Arts Art de Lile De France, Paris, dated 1993, and stamped, on the backside. Pablo Picasso was a Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, and theatre designer who spent most of his adult life in France. Regarded as one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, he is known for co founding the Cubist movement, the invention of constructed sculpture, the co invention of collage, and for the wide variety of styles that he helped develop and explore.
