A fine quality Russian figural table lighter, made of brown jasper and gilded silver set with gemstones. Designed as a well detailed head of a dog with eyes set with cabochon cut rubies. The bulbous body is carved of natural jasper, decorated with an applied monogram set with diamonds, and raised on a gilt silver base with relief scrolled foliage motifs.
