A World War II era German armband. White cotton fabric with painted black and red design and inscription Deutsche Volkssturm Wehrmacht. The Volkssturm was a national militia established by Nazi Germany during the last months of World War II. It was staffed by conscripting males who were not already serving in some military unit.
