An ancient Olmec mask from Pre Columbian America made of green jade. The male mask has harshly carved facial features with narrow eyes, a thin long nose, and full lips. Round holes are drilled on the sides of the face, characteristic of the Olmec civilization. Comes with a heavy stand. The Olmecs flourished during Mesoamericas formative period, dating roughly from as early as 1500 BCE to about 400 BCE.
