An antique Turkmen Central Asia silver tribal headdress set with carnelian stone. Circa late 19th to early 20th century. The heavy silver headdress consists of a large number of interlocking decorative details, including chains, bell pendants, and Maria Theresa thaler coins from 1780. The headdress is inlaid with inserts of bright orange and red carnelian. Mounted on a thick leather band. Antique Tribal Silverware, Jewelry For Collectors, Central Asian Decorative Collectibles.
