Lot 0300: AMERICAN STEUBEN TORTOISE MARTINI GLASSES SET IOB

41 reviews

A set of two American Steuben Tortoise Martini glasses with the original box. Design by Ted Muehling, 2007. The departure from the classic martini stem has a tapering, sculpted base that nestles easily in the hand, whether one is seated or standing. These vessels combine the innate heft of pure Steuben crystal - so comfortable in the palm with the sculptural precision inherent in Muehlings nature inspired designs. The faceted base is painstakingly cut and polished by hand. Marked Steuben. Comes with the original box. Steuben Glass is an American art glass manufacturer, founded in the summer of 1903 by Frederick Carder and Thomas G. Hawkes in Corning, New York, which is in Steuben County, from which the company name was derived. Collectible Glassware, Barware, And Tableware.
