Standing Female Figure representing Goddess Aphrodite aka Venus dating сirca the 1st century A.D. Provenance: ex french private collector 1960s. It is believed that Praxiteles work, executed in marble, was the first sculptural image of a completely naked female body in ancient Greek art.
