An antique 17th-century Greek Orthodox three-panel folding icon. Mixed media painting: egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on a wood board. The central panel represents Saint George slaying the dragon. The side panels depict Saint Spiridon and Nicholas of Myra. The exterior is decorated with a hand-carved Byzantine eagle. Religious Christian Collectibles, Icon Painting.
