An antique late 19th Century Russian Orthodox icon of Saint Panteleimon. The icon was hand painted in the Monastery of St. Panteleimon on Mount Athos. The icon depicts Saint Panteleimon or Pantaleon, a Christian martyr considered to be a Holy Helper or Healer. The saint is depicted with a medicine box and spoon.
