A vintage inkwell modeled as a miniature urn with a hinged lid mounted on an onyx tray in a brass frame, circa 1940s. Adorned with polychrome champleve enamel designs. Champleve is an ancient deeply carved enamel technique used in the decorative arts to decorate metal surfaces.
