Lot 0321: ANCIENT ROMAN INTAGLIO SEALS WITH MALE HEADS

A lot of two ancient Roman intaglio seals, made of Carnelian stones. Circa 1st to 3rd centuries AD. Both intaglios are oval in shape and depict male heads in the right profile. On the first intaglio, in all likelihood, there is an image of Jupiter, with a beard, a laurel wreath in his wavy hair. The reverse side of both items is smooth and flat.
