The book is dedicated to the Decembrist uprising in Russia in 1825. The second book is titled Soul of St. Petersburg by N. P. Antsiferov. Publishing house Brockhaus Efron, St. Petersburg, 1922. Cover of the work by N.E. Morozova. Illustrations by A. P. Ostroumova Lebedeva. The book talks about the image of Russian St. Petersburg in the minds of people at different times.
