A collection of five Russian books. The collection includes trilogy, The Life and Extraordinary Adventures of the Soldier Ivan Chonkin, an anecdote novel by Vladimir Voinovich. The first and most famous book of the trilogy, later called The Inviolable Face, was written in 1963 to 1969. Subsequently, the authors idea developed into the second, Contender to the Throne, 1979; and third Displaced Person, 2007, books about Chonkin. One book is signed and dated March 29, 1986, by Voinovich. The collection also includes Dalekoye, Distant, 1965, by Boris Zaitsev with ex libris inside; and Mussorgsky s Poor Love, Novel, by Ivan Lukash.
