Circulation of 300 copies each. The magazines are richly illustrated in color with the late artworks of Russian avantgarde artists, including Natalya Goncharova, Ivan Bilibin, Mikhail Larionov. The texts are in German and Russian, typed in pre-reform Russian spelling. Zhar-ptitsa or Firebird is a magical creature from Slavic mythology, the captor of the bird is said to get his wishes fulfilled.
